Jim started playing guitar in his late teens and noodled his way into learning the instrument through his 20’s. By the time he was 32, he figured that it would be cool to play in a band. After signing up with a bunch of local Burlington musicians, Jim played in many local bar bands and basement rock specialists. By his mid 30’s, he was well-entrenched in the local bar band scene. Now starting at 40, Jim had the chance to tour southern Ontario with The Jack Callous Band. In 2006, an opportunity arose to jam with a vocal ensemble, and Jim helped to form the six piece band, Now and Then.
Jim brings the soulful sounds of the guitar to each piece he plays, but is not afraid to remind everyone that it’s time to Rock.
